As mindful as we make an effort to be when it comes to eating and exercising and meditating, we all too often forget that we should be mindful in our communication, too. Mindfulness is about fully feeling every emotion and physical sense that comes to you, letting them resonate with your mind and body, and then letting them go so as not to get weighed down or distracted. When I created Mala and Mantra a few years ago, I knew I wanted to produce eco-friendly accessories that everyone could feel good about wearing. After all, we’re a brand that wants to be mindful in everything we do, and that includes being conscious + considerate of how we make an impact on this precious place known as earth.
Our Crafted for a Cause program was created as a way for Mala and Mantra to assist causes that are close to our hearts. This year, we selected Wellness for Cancer, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to helping cancer patients and survivors improve their quality of life, reduce side effects from cancer therapy and increase mental well-being following a journey with cancer. For every piece of the Be Well collection sold, Mala and Mantra will donate $5 to Wellness for Cancer.
